First-time author, L. S. Lentz, has been an educator for over fifteen years. She is a wife and the mother to two adult children and one large mastiff mutt, Stella. After their move to a rustic farmhouse in Massachusetts, Stella struck up an unlikely friendship with a turtle, Shell. This inspired L.S. to write Stella and Shell. She hopes this book encourages readers to find friends of all shapes, sizes, and abilities.
